Jonathan Sykes, a junior member of Project Greer Street at East High School,
has been selected from a national pool of high school candidates for the
acclaimed MEET Kelley summer program. The residential program is located
on the beautiful Indiana University (“IU”) campus in Bloomington, Indiana
and introduces the selected students to the renowned Kelley School of
Business. The curriculum includes classes taught by business school
professors and a unique business plan competition for the students as they
learn about the numerous career opportunities in the business sector and
have an on-campus college experience at IU.
Project Greer Street is a ground-breaking and award-winning educational
enrichment program for African American males launched by Ronald Sally, a
graduate of Duke University and the UCLA School of Law. “During such a
challenging year with the pandemic, we are very proud of Jonathan,” said
Sally.
