Josh Kao, a sophomore member of Project Greer Street at East High School in Denver, has been selected from a national pool of candidates for the Carleton Liberal Arts Experience ("CLAE") summer program hosted by Carleton College in Minnesota. CLAE selected 43 rising high school juniors from a candidate pool of more than 275 students. The selected students will experience the benefits of a liberal arts college education through classes in science, art, social studies, and technology.
Project Greer Street is a ground-breaking and award-winning educational enrichment program for African American males launched by Ronald Sally, a graduate of Duke University and the UCLA School of Law. “During such a challenging year with the pandemic, this is very impressive and we are very proud of Josh,” said Sally.
