NELAN BENJAMIN SELECTED FOR ELITE SUMMER PROGRAM AT THE COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AT CSU

Nelan Benjamin, a junior member of Project Greer Street at East High School, has been selected from a national pool of candidates for the Global Business Academy ("GBA") summer program. Hosted by the College of Business at Colorado State University, GBA is an immersive experience that focuses on the development of key business skills including leadership, critical thinking, decision making, communication, innovation, and negotiation.

Among an array of opportunities and activities, the cohort of selected students will learn about key principles for success in the business sector, the organizational and operational components of a business, and engage with College of Business faculty and a variety of business executives from companies including OtterBox, Pivotal Technologies, Liberty Global, and AT&T Sportsnet.

Project Greer Street is a ground-breaking and award-winning educational enrichment program for African American males launched by Ronald Sally, a graduate of Duke University and the UCLA School of Law. “During such a challenging year with the pandemic, we are very proud of Nelan,” said Sally.
